The surfers’ bus
A red bus leaves Vigo every Monday with its luggage compartment full of surf boards. The destination is any beach in Galicia and northern Portugal. This is the Surf Road Experience, an idea carried out by three entrepreneurs from the area who have converted a series of London buses to go to look for the region’s best waves. “Surfing is now booming in Galicia”, says Andrés Montenegro, the initiative’s joint-founder along with Adrián and Karen Seoane. “Surfing depends a lot on weather conditions and the sea.
